History of Speech & Occupational Therapy of North Texas
Speech & Occupational Therapy of North Texas started in 2001 with a small clinic in downtown Plano, where the owner at the time, Anne Bramlett, grew up. Anne became a speech-language pathologist in private practice because she wanted to help serve not only children with disabilities but also their families She understood the importance of a team approach and the importance of providing exceptional services for both families and children because she has an adult son on the autism spectrum. In 2002, Becky Hary, speech-language pathologist, began working for Anne and quickly became an integral part of the clinic because she shared the same values and desire as Anne to help children and their families with speech and language challenges as well as sensory processing disorders.
